On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Curaçao International Crowned Queens welcomed the nation into a dazzling new era with the official presentation of the Miss Universe Curaçao 2026 candidates at Papagayo Beach Club. The evening celebrated ambition, beauty, and the unveiling of six women ready to crystallize their dreams on the journey toward the crown.
WILLEMSTAD - Thursday 14 May 2026 at Papagayo Beach Club, took place the press conference and presentation of candidates for Miss Universe Curaçao 2026.
Curaçao International Crowned Queens (CICQ), under the leadership of Gionel Virginie, officially presented the six (6) contestants who will be in contention for the title of Miss Universe Curaçao 2026 during a press conference held at Papagayo Beach Club.
This year will mark a historic moment for the organization, considering that Curacao International Crowned Queens has been commissioned to organize the next two editions of Miss Universe Curaçao.
During the press conference, the world got to meet the ladies who will compete for the prestigious crown. Each representing their neighborhood.

Sharepha Pauletta – Curaçao Community in the Netherlands
Gillian Dacosta Gomez – Saliña
Shurmeen Tuesday – Santa Maria

From the beginning, the organization has indicated that the winner of Miss Universe Curaçao 2026 will receive a prize package valued at XCG. 50,000. During the above-mentioned event, it was also revealed that part of the prize will be an electric and modern car, courtesy of HCR Motors and AVIS Car Rental.
According to the organization, the period towards the end will be relatively short, but also intensive and full of professional preparation:

Catwalk
Dance and fitness
Social activities
"Miss Universe Curaçao is in a completely new era. The goal of CICQ is to involve the entire local community in the process towards the coronation of our next queen," according to Curaçao International Crowned Queens.
The grand finale of Miss Universe Curaçao 2026 will take place on July 26, 2026, given that Miss Universe organization has requested that all countries must select their representative before August.
In addition, everyone can expect a special television program where they can get to know the contestants, follow their journey and watch them take on different challenges during the competition.
